The team behind fanflick represents a diverse set of skills and experience particularly suited to a startup in this space.

Mark Gamtcheff

Co-founder and CEO

Mark is currently the General Manager at Deadline, a website and software development company in Adelaide, South Australia and previously worked in marketing, management and design roles at Solar Shop Australia and Hills Holdings Ltd.

He is the founder of @adelaidetweet on Twitter and, a website that publishes articles about the local community written by local writers.

As a social media consultant he conducts group seminars and consults on the use of social media for personal branding, professional networking and brand marketing.

The idea for fanflick had its genesis in Mark’s work on successful Facebook pages for television show enthusiasts in 2011, when he witnessed first hand the passion of fans, and saw a need for a special place to help fans connect and share content.

Michael Foord

Co-founder and CTO

Michael’s technical development experience encompasses a wide range of programming languages and platforms and the management of development teams and complex projects.

Michael has recently worked as Lead Cloud Developer at Virtual Ark where he was responsible for the architecture and development of exciting new innovations in the Cloud Computing space. Previously he was Applications Architect and Senior Program Manager at ninemsn and Senior Developer / Team Lead in the Commonwealth Bank’s online team.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Adelaide.

Doug Adamson

Business Advisor

Doug Adamson is a business focussed, entrepreneurial, technology literate leader with significant expertise in fast growth businesses commercialising technology across a range of industry sectors, with a focus on IT, media and online enterprises.

He is a Case Manager at Commercialisation Australia and he has founded, co-founded and managed several fast growth technology businesses in Australia, the UK and Europe, leading to well developed strategic board level and management skills in Australian and international markets.

He has also managed a portfolio of ICT investments for an early stage venture capital fund, and been business advisor/mentor for many growing businesses.

Doug has qualifications in Electronic Engineering, Finance, and Venture Capital, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Seeking advisors and board members

We are seeking advisors and investors who can bring expertise and experience and form a Board of Directors. We will also need developers, part-time marketing and sales personnel and other key people to complement the founding team.
